Role Overview

​

My role as a Video Editor is a highly supportive position working under the Video Team Lead, operating on a standard 40-hour work week with the ability to scale up to 50–70 hours during peak event seasons. I create promotional and informational content for in-house services while contributing to a high volume of events throughout the year, including large-scale productions such as Easter, Christmas, and conferences.

In addition to video production, I help lead the photography department by organizing merch shoots, coordinating with models, and capturing event coverage through photo and b-roll. I also create and distribute social media content, ensuring content is not only produced but published effectively when needed.

I regularly support and at times lead production shoots, executing both on-site and off-site with strong technical knowledge in cameras, lighting, and audio. From storyboard to final delivery, I carry projects through full execution in a fast-paced environment while also managing logistics for travel-based productions and large-scale content needs.

• Created weekly social media content and advertisements to promote weekend church services, focused events, and on-demand social media needs

• Learned, developed, and guided the church's social media presence toward a modern, current aesthetic

• Captured, filmed, and edited content consistently to produce engaging social media moments that increased reach and exposure

• Assisted and occasionally led on-site and off-site video shoot setup and execution

• Applied knowledge of HD cameras, lighting, and audio for video production

• Responded to technical and creative adjustments in a timely and professional manner

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with working knowledge of After Effects

• Shot, edited, and produced content efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Recruited, scouted, and developed Dream Team volunteers to strengthen the church's video and photo departments

• Communicated clearly across all team levels and managed project organization through Asana

• Consistently handled a minimum of four video projects per week
